The massive 12 cylinder engine is strong and powerful and the automatic transmission shifts properly through all of the gears. The steering is tight and precise and the brakes feel just great. The interior presents beautifully. The Obsidian Black leather seats are in remarkable condition (see pictures) showing just minimal wear to the seats. The dashboard has the unique navigation system and even the carpets show only minimal signs of use.
The exterior presents beautifully with a deep Black finish. The paint is bright and shiny with plenty of luster. The convertible was replaced in Nov. 2022 and look great. Add the optional 19 inch 10 Spoke optional Chrome Wheels and this DB9 really does look special.
It is powered by a 450 hp 6.0-liter V-12. It utilizes a ZF six-speed automatic transmission that has a manual mode with paddle shifters. This provides a very spirited driving experience. Recent services performed in 2023 include replacement of the transmission oil cooler, new cooler lines and engine and transmission fluid changes. Previous service included replacement of the secondary catalytic converters. A fleece lined car cover and owners manual are included with the car.
