This 1969 SS Indy Pace Car convertible is one of just 3,675 produced. It’s finished in its original colors of Dover White with Hugger Orange striping and white top. It’s optioned with an original, correct, numbers matching L48 350/300hp small-block engine (casting number 3932388, Stamping number T0314HB) backed to a Turbo-hydramatic 3 speed Automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end. It’s additionally equipped with convenience options such as Power disc brakes, Power steering, Tilt steering wheel, Woodgrain trim, AM Radio, Center console, Tachometer, Rallye wheels, Deluxe custom houndstooth interior, Rear spoiler, Cowl-induction hood and of course the Z11 Indy 500 package. The car has benefited from a thorough, rotisserie restoration that was completed about 12 years ago. Today the car presents very nicely with only minor evidence of age in isolated areas. The paint and chrome look excellent. The interior looks great with no signs of wear on the seats or carpets. There is a button cap missing from one of the seat backs and minor cracking on the surface of the door panels. The car runs great with lots of power and has an awesome sound. We believe the engine and drivetrain were rebuilt at the time of restoration but unfortunately we have no records to confirm this work. The car is documented by its original Trim Tag denoting Z11 pace car option. In addition, the car has just completed a fresh servicing and is ready to enjoy.
