This is a true Barn Find. The 1930 Chevrolet featured here was recently recovered from its 35 year resting place. It is in a remarkable state of preservation. The car is virtually rust free and remains in it factory, stock livery. Its amazing to see the original wooden floor planks with the body number stamped in it.
The 6 cylinder engine appears completely stock and turns over easily. We have made no attempt to get it running. We will leave that enjoyment to the new owner. The transmission clicks positively into each gear. The dashboard is outfitted will all of its original gages and they present quite nicely. The mechanical brakes still work as does the clutch pedal.
The body is in great condition. The doors close properly with a positive click and even the windows crank up and down. The underside and chassis is equally well preserved with no signs of damage or severe rust. Only traces of minor scale in isolated places are evidence of its lengthy hibernation. The paint on front splash pan has lifted and some minor surface rust has appeared.
The interior upholstery is in good condition and is serviceable. Even the door panels have a nice appearance.
This is a great opportunity to acquire a very clean, complete and highly original example to recommission and enjoy or modify to your taste.
